Longer Operating LifeA 6mm thick soft rubber lining system might last 2 weeks in a jet mill. A 6mm thick 95% alumina ceramic lining system, in the same mill under the same operating conditions, had eroded to a 3mm thickness after 4 years continuous operation. A reaction bonded silicon carbide lining system can last between 5 and 10 times longer than a 95% alumina ceramic lining system. |
